Time Sink Review Log #39
Recap
What did go right ?
Gave a bunch of interviews. Those really help validate that things are going in the right direction. Need to apply to more jobs even if I am not prepared for them.
Spend on an average 1-2 hours daily on DSA. That seem to be paying off now in the interviews. Still not that good enough but good start.
Experimented with study patterns no suprise but I really work well when things a done in smaller and repetative manner. Than just longer and brutal sprints.
Having a schedule and sticking to it. Updating mindless scrolling activities with better ones.
Have been really enjoying coding, figuring out what weak points I have and working on it.
What can be improved upon ?
Handeling failure, this kinda ruins schedule for some time. I think the resistance would build up when I fall enough.
Handeling external pressure. I sometimes get into the trap of everthinking and take additional pressure like "What if things dont't get stable in x months ?". That kinds breaks the schedule so need to work on that.
Sticking to schedule, writing and doing smaller bits in the low days.
Habit Tracking
- Sticking to a bare minimum like one page a day, just 5 min on the trendmil or 5 min meditaion is helping to get the habit going. Should keep up with that.
Mood Tracking
- Tracking mood is a good way to judge the day. I just need a better way to track the history of the mood.
