Two hard SQL questions from interviewbit SQL problems.
Worked on the Pretalx issue.
Thoughts
Slow day could only get a couple of things get done today since I slept 4 in the morning the last night.
After working on personal projects for Django and DRF, exploring Pretalx codebase seem kinda assuring that I could get most of that was being done in the entire project's codebase.
I could not get the entire issue fixed but I think I found one way to do it, would update the issue and ask for more pointers from the maintainer.
One cool thing I did was explore the same problem statement with three different SQL queries approach join+subquery, join+selfjoin, window function.
Will start the DRF ecommerce project after dpass.
Need to set some priorites on what I want to learn this month. Besides already learning DSA, effectively creating API servers with Django and getting good SQL/database design. Things I wanna learn:
- AWS Certified Developer
- Get basics of Frontend just enough to power my projects, have a couple of course like
- Docker
- Effecting unit testing DRF APIs
- Different deploying stratigies like:
- How do deploy with Docker
- How to deploy with Ansible
- How to a bare metal deploy like setup Gunicorn with Ngnix.
- Effectively using Celery with DRF and Django
- Learning how to search with ElasticSearch
- LLD design guidelines and projects like a key value store or as simple as a tic tac to program
- Simple CRUD API servers with Go
Just to need to priotise and see how to go about learning byte sized so that it reamins easy & fun.

Start the Django ecommerce project
Prioritise what to pick this week from the list above and start with that.
Update github issue with the approach worked on today.
Check method serializer in Django Rest Framework.
